The guarantee

We can never bill you more than you loaded. MapRouter is prepaid. Requests spend credits you bought in advance or your free daily quota. When both are used up, requests are refused. We do not bill for usage after the fact, and we do not charge a card without a purchase or an auto top-up that you turned on, with the monthly maximum you set.

Your account

You sign up with a GitHub account, one MapRouter account per GitHub account. You’re responsible for your keys. Keep secret keys secret.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid right to use MapRouter, not money or stored value, and can’t be exchanged for cash. Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase. Free credits reset daily and don’t carry over. Refunds remove the matching credits; credits from a disputed payment are frozen until the dispute is resolved.

Using the service

Follow the acceptable use policy and the data licences described in attribution. We may suspend keys or accounts that break them.

Availability

MapRouter is provided as is, without an uptime commitment. We may change or stop features with notice. If we close the service, we’ll refund unused purchased credits.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
