Privacy policy
Draft, pending legal review.
What we collect
- Account: your GitHub user id, username, email address and the date your GitHub account was created (it sets your free quota), plus where you first heard of us if the link said so.
- Usage: which key made which kind of request and how many credits it spent. We don’t keep the text of your searches beyond a 24-hour cache that makes repeated searches faster.
- Payments: handled by our payment provider. We see the amount and status, not your card.
What we use it for
Running the service, metering credits, preventing abuse, and emails you need (receipts, balance alerts, security notices). Marketing email is sent only if you opted in, and you can stop it at any time.
What we share
Only with the providers that run the service (Cloudflare, our server host, our payment and email providers), and when the law requires it. We don’t sell data.
Your choices
You can export your data or delete your account from the dashboard. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
